Safran and AVIC signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) concerning turboprop engines for commercial airplanes, in a ceremony attended by French President François Hollande and the President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping. In November, they signed the framework agreement on the creation of a joint entity in China to design, test and produce power turbines and flame tubes for the two parent companies.

All the companies of the Group now share the same logo and their names include the Safran brand name.
